Request Your Mail-In Ballot Now!

While the town will be conducting in-person voting on Wednesday, June 24th, it would help if most people would vote early by mail. This will help protect everyone, including those that vote in-person and the election workers.

Step 1: Check your registration status and if needed, register online on or before Friday, June 12th.

Step 2: Request an early mail-in ballot from the Town Clerk:

You can find official instructions for requesting an early mail-in ballot on the town's web site. Here is the simplified version:

With a Printer Without a Printer
Print out and fill out the early ballot request PDF
(Click on the image to download the PDF.)

Write the same information as on the image on the left on a piece of paper:

  • Please send me a mail-in ballot for the Ashland municipal election.
  • My name: ____________
  • My address: _______________
  • My date of birth: ___________
  • My phone and/or email address: _________________
  • Send my ballot to my registered address (or specify another one here)
  • Signed: _________________
  • Date: _______________

Step 3: Send the request to the Town Clerk

You must sign the request for it to be valid.

By Email By Mail Hand Delivery

Scan the request (PDF file) or take a clear photo (JPG file), and email it to:
townclerkoffice@ashlandmass.com

This is the simplest and preferred option.

Mail it to:

Ashland Town Clerk
101 Main Street
Ashland, MA 01721

Drop it off in the drop box at Town Hall.

Step 4: When your ballot arrives, fill it out and mail it back in (instructions are included with the ballot). You must sign the envelope that you place the ballot in. You may put the ballot in the drop box at Town Hall if you don't want to mail it. Ballots must be received by election day, June 24th.
